Isolated strong thunderstorms will be possible late Friday night and again Saturday afternoon and evening. There is still substantial uncertainty in convection coverage and how many storms will initiate. However, the timing of greatest threat will be between 11 PM and 3 AM tonight, and again tomorrow afternoon after 1 PM. The strongest storms may be severe with hail up to the size of quarters and wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour. Heavy rain will also be of concern with the Saturday afternoon storms and into Saturday night, with isolated instances of flash flooding possible.
