A strong storm system will bring widespread rain and thunderstorms to eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Monday into Monday night. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Rainfall rates should be low enough to where flash flooding won't be an issue. The more likely impacts from this storm system will be difficult driving conditions due to heavy rain (ponding on roadways and reduced visibilities) and minor flooding along creeks and low-lying areas.
