Overall, the year was a warm one across Eastern Nebraska, with Norfolk, Omaha, and Lincoln all landing in their top 15 warmest years on record.
While the annual averages were high—driven largely by March and October pushing well above normal—it wasn't warm across the board. February stands out as a major outlier, bringing a record-setting cold snap that has become a recurring trend over the past decade.
2025 Rankings:
Norfolk: 14th Warmest (Avg: 63.4°)
Omaha: 15th Warmest (Avg: 64.5°)
Lincoln: 14th Warmest (Avg: 65.9°)
